Devon Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and applies to residential use only. Proof of purchase is required. Photographs may be required. Warranty begins from the date of purchase.

Devon will repair, refinish or replace any defective products in its original colour or style within the duration of the warranty period, if available, or to match if the item has been discontinued. Exclusions may apply (see below for more detail).

ONE YEAR WARRANTY

Aluminium Furniture Frame
Aluminium Frames are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

Olefin / Waytex Sling / Wicker / Stamskin
Olefin, Waytex Sling, Wicker and Stamskin are warranted against any defects in material for the duration of the warranty period.

Aluminium Umbrella Frames
Aluminium Umbrella Frames are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

Umbrella Base
Umbrella Bases are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period. However damage due to mishandling will not be covered under this warranty.

TWO YEAR WARRANTY

Kwila Umbrella Frames
Kwila Umbrella Frames are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

Batyline Sling®
Batyline Sling are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials for the duration of the warranty period.

THREE YEAR WARRANTY

Stainless Steel Furniture Frames
Stainless Steel Furniture Frames are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials for the duration of the warranty period.

FIVE YEAR WARRANTY

Kwila Furniture Frame
Kwila Furniture Frames are warranted against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

Planosol Fabric®
Planosol Frabrics are warranted against any defects in material for the duration of the warranty period.

EXCLUSIONS FROM LIMITED WARRANTY

Glass is excluded from the warranty.

DEVON does not cover for repairs, refinishing or replacements caused by the following:

1     Unreasonable or abusive use.
2     Chemical stains and damages.
3     Exposure to extreme climate conditions.
4     Modifications by purchaser.
5     Changes in wood colour due to natural aging of the wood.
6     Neglect of reasonable and necessary care and maintenance.
7     Normal wear and tear subjected to weather and use.
8     Force Majeure.
9     DEVON products used in commercial environments or applications.
10   Leaching or bleeding of Kwila timber when it is exposed to rain
        (the period of leaching varies and is unpredictable).
11   Surface ‘tea staining’ or rust film occurring on stainless steel.
